A message from Russ

For as far back as I can remember I always wanted to be in the construction business. Perhaps it was originally my desire to work alongside my grandfather who was a master builder or, my inherent love of tools. Whatever it was that initially drew me to the profession; it was reinforced by my summer employment during high school and college working for my grandfather in New Hampshire where he taught me the building trade from the ground up. His philosophy was that if you commit to a project then do it right or, don’t do it at all. His vision has been my inspiration and the guiding principle in my business for the last 21 years. As an established contractor and builder in the greater Seattle area, I have had the good fortune of developing many long-term professional relationships with customers, architects, suppliers, tradesmen and employees. After many years of working side by side, many of these professional relationships have turned into friendships and this remains one of the greatest accomplishments of my career.

As a hands-on builder, I will be intimately involved with the day to day work on your project. We have chosen to only focus on a handful of projects at any given time which allows us to provide unparalleled individual attention and results in a better value for your investment. The staff who work along side me in our boutique firm share my passion for building. Lavallee Construction and all subcontractors are fully insured, bonded and licensed. As a team, we thrive on the unique challenges presented both in small scale home remodeling projects and also on the complex demands of new construction.
